How To Edit Contact Page in Flash Templates

This is a quick tutorial to show you how to edit contact information in flash templates using Flash CS3 program.
1. Open up the Flash .fla file.
2. Go to all pages movie clip by double clicking all pages movie clip on the main timeline or inside 1. layout folder in the library as shown below.
3. Go to last frame of all pages movie clip. You will see all text fields and the contact form on the stage. You just need to edit the text by double clicking on any text field.
4. Save the .fla file (ctrl + s) and export it to .swf output file (ctrl + enter).

I have a question. I took a look at 202 motion gallery from http://www.flashmo.com. I’m interested in using it but I can’t seem to change the button links that have titles like Apples, Cherries, Peppers, etc. I want to put my own titles there, how do I?

I have downloaded one of accordion templates and intends to use it. I have customized it alright but the mails | comments | enquiries filled on the form does not get to my mail. ( the form does not work) it keeps telling me “Failed, mail was not sent”.
is there anything else I need to change in the php scripts besides the recipient?

I have a question. I took flashmo_218_shape.fla to edit. I want to add 5 more gallery pages, I copy and paste the xml & rename (flashmo_217_photo_list06). In flash, inside all page movieclip, I edit to : flashmo_gallery_06load_gallery”flashmo_217_photo_list_06xml”);
but is not function.

I love you free flashmo 202 motion gallery but I can’t figure out how to make the contact page email you. I need help. I type all the information in then I press send and all it says is sending. But I don’t get anything in my email.
I am working on template flashmoo 197, and I wish to remove a page. It has 6 pages and I need only 5 page (4 info pages and 1 Contact page). I have tried changing it in the Buttons Frame, but then I dont see the last Contact page.
Please assist.
I would like someone help me in the edition of the buttons, if I want to reorder them or change the contends inside..
For example I want only 1 galery, and the first 2 menus be the introductions text for them, and the last one be the contact form..
Also I found out If I remove the option to be links the last menus become contact forms..
I hope some can help me to edit the action script to improve it.. maybe a special sign to let know if gallery photo button menu, or just text.. etc..

I’ve made some of the changes in my xml file by following your examples. They were very helpful. Now how do I get the changes in my xml file uploaded to my template (html file). I’m ripping my hair out trying to figure it out. My template is not yet on the net because I’m still working on it.
Love the VShape template and am trying to edit it. How do I get the CONTACT FORM to submit and land in MY email account? I see several Qs regarding this posted above, yet I see no response. Please help.

im trying to get the contact form to work i have put my name and domain in the php files and it still says failed i took out the music file and link and when i click send message it gives me jumbled words and doesnt send. when i use the stock template and change the email it says cannot send or failed. if you could id appreciate your input or help on this topic thank you and best wishes

Hi. I just customized the 248 clean gallery but there is one problem with the template. The contact form does not allow certain characters like vf etc. This is not that problem with the sample here: http://www.flashmo.com/preview/flashmo_248_clean_gallery, but when you download the zipped files, and preview it using Adobe CS5 Professional you get the problem. I’ll see if I can figure out the problem, but if you know how to fix it and can help me out that would be great!

In Flash CS5, you need to do “character embedding” for those text fields in contact form. This problem does not happen in Flash CS3.
