Lee Brimelow (a flash platform evangelist) has recently uploaded his new video that shows new features of upcoming Adobe Flash CS5. Below are the screenshots taken from the preview video. Flash CS5 beta version will be available for download from Adobe Labs before the end of 2009. Updates [18 Dec 2009]: There will not be a beta version for Flash CS5.

Some of the new features include:

  • Applications for iPhone
  • New text capabilities via the Text Layout Framework (TLF)
  • XML based FLA files
  • Code Snippets panel
  • Flash Builder™ integration
  • Improved ActionScript editor
