It’s a great tool, I hope to increase my habilities to design a cool website
Well cool is a good word for it. It is cool but limited compared to designing in Adobe Flash. It is industry standard for a reason.
With advancements in search engine injdexing and faster download speeds, flash is coming back again and is once again popular in designing websites. Flash is equally good for developing web applications and integrating with databases. Flash is definately one of the areas to watch for in terms of a second growth.
I love my flash. However, I prefer to use flex and code in actionscript 3.0. I feel you have more control over your animations that way.
That is the best blog post title I have read in a while!
I sense that Flex is trying to do a similar thing but isn’t quite as easy – as your title alludes to.
Integrating flash presentations on a website really increases its appeal. But just like what others say, AuroraFlash’s capabilities are very limited compared to Adobe Flash’s.
Flash site is very nice but Google doesn’t flash website. It can’t read it and you have only and one page. ?f you want to top list , you must css template and a lot of page.
Google crawls flash websites and even more now it crawls flash websites with dynamic content. Since adobe and google are good friends and their friendship looks like is aimed against yahoo and micrfosoft. So I believe search engines wont stay long on principles like “we do not like flash cause it is not SEO friendly”.
The way search engines read and crawl websites is changing and in the future flash websites might not be a major problem for indexing but as it is today, flash does represent a major limitation on your search engine indexing.
Text, image description and links on flash sites are often unrecognized by search engines. Depending on what is what you are trying to achive with your website, flash might be a good way to go or not.
But do not expect to compete with a well optimized html website if all you have to get around is a very cool flash website.
But again, things are changing and in the near future this might not be the case anymore.
You know guys, I like this application though many designers and flash developers would say that it sucks. The reason is that such site builders take their customers away. Limited? Yes. But also it’s much easier to understand and use.
