There are a lot of websites, print materials and advertisements that make use of people silhouettes. Vector graphics are getting more and more popular and there are many vector freebie websites on the web. However, there is only very few websites for free vector silhouettes so far and it is not easy to find detailed and well-crafted people silhouettes.
All-Silhouettes.com is a relatively new website that offers free vector silhouettes including peoples, creatures, florals, grung, symbols and signs. All vectors are available to download for any kind of usage including commercial use. Most of the sets are distributed in AI and CHS formats.

Great advice, sometimes using Adobe illustrator can be quite time consuming. Certainly moving vertexes can be ignoring at times. Using free vector shapes can reduce lead time in web design.
